Henry James at the movies

The Innocents

Washington Square (2 versions. Jennifer Jason Leigh was miscast.)

Daisy Miller

The Lost Moment and

Eduardo Di Gregorio’s Aspern.

The Portrait Of A Lady (Viggo Mortensen was great as Caspar Goodwood)

The Wings Of The Dove (pretty good, like Days Of Heaven with the genders switched!)

The Europeans

The Bostonians

And there’s a Dominick Moll TV version of The Friends Of The Friends which I didn’t want to see in case it was better than mine (sadly unproduced)

Anything else? Oh, didn’t Truffaut make one, La Chambre Verte (?)

And Celine And Julie Go Boating has some James connection.

Actually, this is turning into quite a good season…

And then there’s Edith Wharton…

I had a stroke on July 26th, 2013. I was a screenwriter. Don’t do that anymore. But have found another way to write.
