A stroke ‘survivor’ has just sat down. Worse than me. About 70. OMG. It always disarms me…
I’ll have to go and talk to him at some stage.
It really upsets me seeing someone ELSE with a stroke. (What’s it like for you, seeing cancer sufferers?)
Anyway, I plucked up courage to talk to him. He had a stroke AND dementia! Oh god…
His wife looked DESPERATE, as if going to the pub were the only sign of normality… (I knew exactly how she felt…)
I just about held it together, then fled to the Gents (narrowly avoiding killing myself on tiny ‘step’) and cried…
Then, leaving, my eyes dried, a man aged 60 obviously ‘noticed’ me and held the door open, and I virtually blubbed all over again…
Must mention the hidden ‘step’ to the manager (ex tenant!) before it kills someone….
